Jeremy brings over two decades of wisdom gained from working in some of Australia's most challenging clinical settings—from the Medically Supervised Injecting Centre in Sydney to youth justice, oncology social work, and mental health crisis services. This breadth of experience means he's worked with extraordinary clinical complexity and brings that depth to every client he sees, whether your situation feels chaotic or appears straightforward on the surface.
As an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with a Master's degree in Social Work, Jeremy holds advanced qualifications that allow clients to access Medicare rebates through the Better Access program. He has completed specialist training in advanced trauma clinical practice, rites of passage work for boys and fathers, and No Bullshit Therapy for clients who are ambivalent or suspicious about traditional therapy approaches.
Jeremy understands that you are the expert on your own life, and therapy works best as a partnership. He prioritises building genuine rapport and creating a foundation of trust before any deep work begins. His approach is eclectic and tailored—drawing from multiple therapeutic modalities according to your unique needs rather than applying a one-size-fits-all method. The client is always the final arbiter of what works.
As a proud social worker, Jeremy is uniquely trained to see the full complexity of your world—not just your internal psychological experience, but also how family systems, cultural background, social circumstances, structural barriers, and broader life context impact your wellbeing. He understands that you can't adequately address anxiety or depression if you don't have stable housing, or if you're navigating systemic discrimination, or struggling with chronic illness. Jeremy works with the many moving parts of a person's experience simultaneously.
For clients who find traditional therapy too slow, too jargon-heavy, or too soft—particularly men, teenagers, and those mandated to attend—Jeremy offers No Bullshit Therapy (NBT). This direct, pragmatic approach cuts through pretence and gets to the heart of issues without unnecessary therapeutic language or tip-toeing around difficult truths.

If you’re looking for a therapist who understands complexity, who brings both clinical expertise and genuine warmth to the work, and who will treat you as a partner in your own healing journey, Jeremy would welcome the opportunity to speak with you.
